Another Electrcian Video

This one not so nice. So I'll just link to it. I was shown this during a day long Arc Flash Training my company gives us. They also give us the protective equipment to avoid being injured in the event that things go wrong. We are, as far as I know, the ONLY electrical contractor in West Michigan that provides this ON the TRUCKS....not back in the shop but right out where someone might need it. The cost of that must be tremendous but they obviously care about us. Unlike the Ultimate Electrician video this did happen in my work environment. The pictures of the scene of the accident had a huge impact on me. It could easily be me. Every once in awhile keep me accountable. Ask me if I've been wearing it.

Merry "Moose-mas"

This weekend we got out all the decorations and had an awesome time decorating. Last weekend when we were up north, we brought home a "REAL" christmas tree. I haven't had a real tree in a few years so I am having trouble remembering to water it!

We added a new member to our family this year... Marty. He is our new lighted moose for our front yard. We love him! (At least I do) We had fun and are all starting to get into the holiday spirit. I am done with school next Monday and then I will officially be in the Christmas mode! Until then, I will be cramming for exams!

Oh, and by the way, Rob has started posting to this sight as well (it is our family blog so I had to let him!) Anyway, I just wanted to warn you all that you may find some "a-little-out-there" postings -- hence the previous post! This is why I love this man!!

It's About Time

Ok, I have had this Blog spot for almost a year and have never posted anything!! Now, that my Dad has his own Blog, I thought I better get with the program! I don't have much to write about but here is a picture of the girls on Halloween. We had a great time at Trunk or Treat at Calvary CRC and then went over to our friends and trick or treated around the neighborhood. It was a great evening!
